The great puritan preacher Thomas Watson once said,

"We are more sure to arise out of our graves than out of our beds."

This confident expression of hope and assurance of things yet to come is the very essence of biblical eschatology. Eschatology, of course, is the study of 'last things' or 'end times' in the Bible. While eschatology is an exciting subject, it is also a difficult one. Many of the truths of the end times have challenged, and continue to challenge, even the most astute theologians. Yet, as the Bible unfolds to reveal God's sovereign wisdom about heaven, hell, the return of Christ, resurrection and judgment, and the new heavens and earth, followers of Jesus are afforded the opportunity to grow in love and affection for God, and also to grow in humility, charity, and grace toward other believers who might hold different convictions regarding secondary matters of the faith. Eschatology brings tremendous comfort in reminding all who have trusted in Christ Jesus alone for salvation that God's promises will come to pass.

Have you wondered what happens to both believers and unbelievers at death? A closer look at passages of scripture that concern 'last things' answers this question, and many more. The array of educational videos that Little Pilgrims Theology offers on eschatology provides a robust introduction to 'last things'; making God and His word known.

There is much confusion even around essential doctrines of eschatology. Soul sleep? Purgatory? Nope. Little Pilgrims Theology sorts out truth from error with scripture as the final authority. Having a biblical grasp of the return of Jesus, resurrection, heaven, and hell is important for believers of all ages.

Brief scriptural lessons on eschatology help organize and sort through end times doctrines. First, watch a brief lesson video, then take a short interactive quiz, color a memory verse, and lastly, extend your study of scripture with application questions and Bible study exercises.
