REFORMED THEOLOGY CURRICULUM
Resurrection

Christ Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life, then He suffered and died on the cross. But death could not hold Him, it had no power over Him. On the third day He was resurrected bodily from the dead, appeared to more than 500 witnesses, and then He ascended to heaven in the presence of many witnesses to be seated at the right hand of God the Father. With exceeding joy, the church can rejoice that Christ Jesus is risen, He is risen indeed! This subject focuses on the resurrection of Christ Jesus; specifically looking at how Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of God's suffering servant in Isaiah 53, proofs of Christ's bodily resurrection, results of His resurrection, and the hope we can have in His resurrection.

The Resurrection subject is a hands-on, interactive learning experience. Video lessons and follow-up questions give students material to ponder, search out in scripture, and respond to. This Resurrection subject uses short videos as the primary means of instruction. Learners are then encouraged to take short quizzes to assess understanding, color memory verses while they memorize, complete scripture application pages, and grow in Christ through Bible study worksheets.

While interacting with the quizzes, key scriptures taught in the videos are reviewed, reinforced, and/or expounded to further immerse learners in biblical truth.

As children read, and meditate on Bible verses with memory verse coloring pages, more sensory processes are engaged in the learning process. This helps with retention and accommodating varying learning styles. We recommend displaying this artwork throughout the week while working on the Resurrection subject to commit the verse to memory during that time. We are confident that you will find Little Pilgrims Theology's Resurrection subject interesting, educational, and packed full of scripture!
